Despite progress in the healthcare sector, children, particularly those aged 0-6, continue to lose their lives due to inadequate nutrition and care. This has led to a high number of stunted, wasted, and underweight children.
Children from Tribal and Backward Communities Most Affected: Among Other Backward Classes (OBCs), 38.9% of children experience stunted growth, while 29.6% are underweight. The percentage of wasted children is highest among Scheduled Tribes (18.7%), followed by Scheduled Castes (15.5%) and OBCs (14.8%).
Issues We Are Targeting
Child Malnutrition
Millions of children in India, especially in tribal and backward communities, suffer from severe malnutrition. We aim to provide nutritious meals and supplements to help them grow healthily and reach their full potential.
Infant and Child Mortality
High mortality rates among infants and young children persist due to inadequate nutrition and healthcare. Our efforts focus on reducing these rates through innovative nutritional programs and health interventions.
Lack of Awareness in Health
Many women lack the knowledge required for proper pregnancy and infant care. We organize educational programs to empower mothers with vital information to ensure the health of their children.
How We Are Helping

Severe Child Malnutrition
Large numbers of tribal and backward community children suffer from malnutrition, affecting their growth and development. We address this issue by providing balanced, nutritious meals and essential supplements to combat malnutrition at the grassroots level.
High Infant and Child Mortality
Despite healthcare advancements, mortality rates remain alarmingly high among infants and young children due to poor nutrition. Our intervention programs focus on reducing these rates through comprehensive health and nutrition support.
Maternal Health Education
Lack of awareness around pregnancy care and infant nutrition leads to health complications. We conduct workshops and awareness campaigns to educate pregnant and lactating women, ensuring healthier pregnancies and well-nourished children.
Community-Based Nutrition Solutions
By partnering with local Self Help Groups, we create sustainable, community-driven nutrition programs. These groups prepare meals, and our teams regularly monitor the children’s health, ensuring long-term impact and empowerment within the communities.
